Blue Ridge Parkway Walkabout

  • Distance: 7.1 Miles Out and Back
  • Elevation Gain: 535 ft.
  • Difficulty: Easy Road Walk

The Blue Ridge Parkway was closed due to the Pandemic.  We took the opportunity to drive up and park at the gate at Wagon Road Gap.

Sunny and warm day.

Lots of people were walking and riding bikes on the parkway.  Everyone was being courteous and respected the distancing rules.

We walked all the way to the Pisgah Inn because we had heard the the roof of the Pisgah Room had wind damage.  Several people were milling about, but no workers were there except for a painter.
